CSAM
seeks to foster an educational environment in which patients learn
about health promotion, the meaning of illness and death, and personal
responsibility in healing.
We are also committed to teaching and education
for professionals, and the promotion of anthroposophical concepts
through research, education and outreach. We foster an environment
that provides didactic and clinical training in anthroposophical
therapeutics for doctors, nurses, therapists and students. We exchange
knowledge with conventional medical practitioners and students through
seminars, lectures and written articles. CSAM staff and P.O. members
offer presentations on Anthroposophical medicine and related topics at
the request of various groups ranging from Universities to gatherings
at the local library.
This
education and outreach is also done in less formal arenas such as
evening study groups, information booths at local art fairs and
conventions. |
